Christmas meeting - 10.12.2020

To bring Polish Christmas customs and traditions closer to foreign students, IRO AIK with Mentors students together prepared an online Christmas meeting.

We have talked about our Christmas Eve customs, the dishes we eat on that day and we have revealed who is bringing the gifts. We also shared recipes for red borscht with dumplings and dried fruits compote.

After the presentation, foreign students told us how Christmas is celebrated in Germany, Spain and Italy. Despite the obvious differences in the traditions of the various regions, we have found many common elements. We are glad that our meeting was able to bring Polish culture a little closer to foreign students.
